KfH Kidney Centre at the Dritter Orden Clinic
The KfH Kuratorium für Dialyse und Nierentransplantation e.V., represented by the Munich Elsenheimer Straße KfH Kidney Centre, has operated dialysis beds at the Klinikum Dritter Orden since mid-2009. Since then chronic dialysis patients with intercurrent morbidity have been able to undergo haemodialysis directly on the spot whilst hospitalised at the Klinikum Dritter Orden. This dispenses with the need for time-consuming and strenuous journeys to other dialysis institutions.
When looking after dialysis patients, the KfH Kidney Centre team of qualified nephrologists and experienced specialist nurses works together closely with the referring centre and the Klinikum Dritter Orden doctors treating the patients. The Munich Elsenheimer Straße KfH Kidney Centre is certified under DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and in addition has been awarded the "Good Dialysis Practice" rating.
