Gynaecological Tumour Centre

Diagnosing and treating gynaecological-oncological clinical pictures in line with the guiding principles calls for close interdisciplinary co-operation between the most diverse specialisations. In the Gynaecological Tumour Centre at the Klinikum Dritter Orden we have all the prerequisites for this in place. Diagnostics, surgical treatment, qualified nursing, oncological and radiotherapeutic treatment, as well as palliative care are combined under one roof. In the interdisciplinary weekly tumour conference the individual therapy for each oncology patient is stipulated in line with the latest scientific knowledge.

Besides treatment that observes the guiding principles, is quality-assured and ethically justifiable, what is equally important to us is the individual and empathic care of the patient. Of course, our patients also receive the attention of psycho-oncologists and chaplains, and are given advice and help in all matters of social legislation.

The oncology consultation hours are Wednesdays 9.15 am – 12 pm and by arrangement.
